- Got a question? Now you can ask Linda a quick question using the new chat feature on each page of the site. The "widget" to the left will let you know if Linda is online (available to answer you). You type in the space near the bottom and hit enter. When your question has been sent it will appear in the larger box at the top, as will Linda's response. Note - if Linda is assisting someone she may not be able to answer immediately; please be patient.

- Preserving Fayette’s History: Digitizing Fayette Newspapers: We are happy to announce that, thanks to a grant from the Fayette County Community Foundation and matching support from the Friends of the Library, our patrons now have access to 54 reels of film of Fayette Newspapers, spanning years from 1882 to 2004. The papers have been digitized and are available on the web, or on CDs which can be searched in the library. On the web they can be found at http://fayette.newspaperarchive.com/Default.aspx
Because the materials are copyrighted, you will first need to contact the library for the login and password that will permit you to access the site. these should be invaluable for people doing genealogical or historical research. - Browse our entire collection from the comfort of your home.
- Download audio books- with a valid library card, members of participating libraries can log onto the digital library website 24/7, install the free software, check out and download popular and classic audio books to their PC, transfer them to a portable MP3 player or even burn some titles to CD and listen in the car. Click on the NEIBORS icon to get started. Great news! There are now books available for Mac and iPod users.
