About the New Library Director

Meet Annette Butikofer

Welcome to the Fayette Community Library!

My name is Annette Butikofer and I have been Director at the Fayette Community Library since October of 2017. I  am in the process of receiving my library training through the State Library's certification program taking both the Management I & II courses. I am striving to keep up with library trends through webinars and trainings. I hope to embrace all the exciting ways the library can stay vital to the way our communities learn and grow.

Fayette is so fortunate to have a wonderful building, wonderful collections and a very supportive city council. The library also has a solid patron base and an incredible Friends of the Library Group who help to keep new and innovative thinking and programming coming to our community.

If you have not visited our facility in a while I invite you to stop by and check us out!

I come to the Fayette library after 12 years as a library assistant at NFV Schools with a passion for literacy, children and the good that can be done when communities band together.

When not at the library I enjoy movies, reading, baking, singing and volunteering.

Please feel free to contact me with your thoughts and suggestions, questions and concerns.
