Borrow from another library

If you can't find an item in this library, ask library staff to help you get it from another library.
Our Library belongs to a national library computer network that allows us to borrow items we do not own from across the country.  There is no fee for this service.  Donations to cover the cost of postage are accepted and welcome.

A librarian will be happy to help you submit an interlibrary loan request. You can also submit a request from your home computer by using the Iowa Locator (also known as SILO).  A link to the Iowa Locator can be found in the navigation bar under the tab titled Do Research. Look up the book you want. When you get the results of your "query", you can use your browser's "Send Link" or "Send Page by e-mail" to submit the record to the library. Please add a note asking for this item on Interlibrary Loan.

You will be notified when the item is in the library. Please pick it up within two days, and return to the library by the date specified.
