The Fayette Community Library has a multi-purpose room
- to serve as a general meeting room which provides space for library programs and special events to fulfill the library's role as a community center, where the public can attend informational, educational, civic, and cultural events.
- The second purpose is to provide the community with a connection with Iowa Communications Network (ICN).
